The Function of the Fan Speed Percentage is Explained
In accordance with the percentage of the maximum fan speed, the fan speed is adjusted using this parameter. However, it should be noted that the minimum fan speed can only be adjusted to 1000 rpm and that there is some variation in the fan’s actual speed.
How to Enable This Function?
Simply enter the percentage value in the back box, select the previous check box, and click Save. After saving, you need to restart the miner to take effect.
If This Function is Not Checked, How is the Fan Speed of the Miner Controlled?
In fact, the miner’s fan defaults to being adjusted automatically based on temperature. To make sure the mining machine operates at the ideal temperature, engineers will simulate the ideal fan speed curve when designing the mining machine.
What Should I Pay Attention to When Using This Function?
In fact, the default setting is the best option for automatic fan adjustment, so we do not advise using this function. The fan rotates at a high speed to promote heat dissipation when the temperature is high, and at a low speed to maintain the temperature when the temperature is low. When manually adjusted, if the speed is too low, the miner will get hot; if the speed is too high, the miner’s power consumption will go up; and when the speed is fixed, the miner will be easily influenced by changes in the outside temperature, leading to instability. If it is not necessary, uncheck this function.
